Functional Low Vision AssessmentsWe undertake functional low vision assessments of clients using low-tech visual aids (for example magnifiers, monoculars), high-tech aids (text enhancement software, video magnifiers), non optical aids (lighting, speech synthesisers), and advise on techniques (steady eye strategy, eccentric fixation) to maximise visual acuity. This will allow the employee or student to work at their optimum level of efficiency, help reduce fatigue and comply with Health & Safety Regulations.

These assessments particularly benefit established employees who are beginning to lose their sight. This can often negate the need for redundancy or re-deployment.
